4Same as COD MW3 keyboard
By J. Rodriguez
This is the same keyboard as the Call of Duty MW3 G105 keyboard. The only difference is that the Call of Duty version has a Call of Duty logo at the top of the keyboard and the keys for the MW3 version light up green, while this version light up blue. And the MW3 keyboard goes for between 22 and 30 bucks here on amazon and this version currently goes for about 60 bucks. So as long as you don't mind a 1 by 3 inch Call of Duty MW3 logo that version may be a much better deal for you. Either way this keyboard has very nice back lighting on the keys and for twenty or thirty bucks is an extremely good deal. Very responsive, and way better than any other keyboard in that price range. I myself just put a very nice Adventure Time sticker right over the lame Call o' Duty logo. :)

3Logitech G105 video review
By Derek G
Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R337UA5GPUW6DN My first ever video review (please be nice!) Unfortunately, my camera's autofocus doesn't do a very good job with closeups.

4A lower-end gaming keyboard that works fairly well with the macros
By Scott
For the last several years, I've been using a Logitech Illuminated Ultrathin Keyboard with Backlighting, which has been an incredible keyboard, but isn't designed for gaming. Even though I have all of the keys mostly stored in muscle memory, it can be useful to glance down at the keyboard when I need to find a button, and for this reason, backlit keyboards are a huge plus. The G105 is the lower end of the Logitech G-Series gaming keyboards. The first advantage the G105 has over my keyboard, is that it's more rugged, and can stand up to some heavy pounding on the space and WASD keys. It is also much easier to clean since there is more spacing behind the individual keys. There are two brightness levels and, although my previous keyboard has three, the two included on the G105 I think are sufficient for most people's needs. It's very easy to adjust the back lighting on the fly and then cut it back off again when you need more darkness.

Programmable G-Keys - this is the real advantage of the G105 and why you might want a gaming keyboard. There are 6 "G" keys that can be used to program macros. They are on the left hand side, so they're in convenient reach of the WASD movement keys. I have only set up some very basic macros with them, but it seems to work well and the response time is instant. It allows you to record macros mid-game, but I've found this a bit difficult to do so far, and haven't been able to get any working correctly that I tried. It is easier to just use premade macros. I have been using the G105 with the Logitech G700s Rechargeable Gaming Mouse and I really prefer the macros on a keyboard rather than the mouse, which is a little more difficult to reach with your thumb.

For a lower-end gaming keyboard, it works pretty well, although I really think anyone who is going to take advantage of it would do better with the G510s, which is only marginally more expensive and offers three times the number of macro keys (I quickly used up the 6 provided with the G105). I also think a USB port would be a nice feature that could be added fairly cheaply.
